SEE YOU ON MARCH SECOND!

Dubroom Online - Edition February 24 - March 1, 2008

"SEE YOU ON MARCH SECOND!" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, February 24 2008 - In the last seven weeks, I have been writing about Mystery Babylon in my column.

I have been sharing information which I found out and thing, basically the result of researching and putting things together.

Since I wrote it in a column, I didn't really bother top provide footnotes, but the Dubroom Website contains loads and loads of information and links that will provide you with these footnotes.

I plan to write much more about this essential topic too, but in the next week I need to do a couple of things which require me to go into the Outernet and so I will not have the time to put out new editions of Dubroom Online, even though I will visit the Dubroom Message Boards daily.

So... more on March 2nd!

THE TRUTH MOVEMENT (3)

Dubroom Online - Edition January 4, 2008

"THE TRUTH MOVEMENT (3)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, January 4 2008 - Obviously, the Truth Movement is as diverse as let's say the Movement of Rastafari. It's infiltrated too, corrupted, full of diversion and in-fights.

Obviously, each and everyone got to think for themselves and digest the information, in short, do their own research.

We live in a world, where consciousness simply is a must. Consciousness, as in awareness.

For the time wherein one could simply ignore the voice of the Rastaman and others, the pre-Internet days, are definitely over.

THE TRUTH MOVEMENT (2)

Dubroom Online - Edition January 3, 2008

"THE TRUTH MOVEMENT (2)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, January 3 2008 - The Truth Movement came into existence, mostly because of the Internet itself.

Cyberspace showed us just how much we are actually being lied to by the mainstream media and the Church-And-State System we know as Babylon.

9/11 formed a katalysator for all of this. The official version of the conspiracy theory behind the events that killed thousands of people changed the "World Order" into a "New World Order" visible for everyone.

Thanks to the Internet, researchers from all over the world combined their insight and published their findings on the Internet.

THE TRUTH MOVEMENT (1)

Dubroom Online - Edition January 2, 2008

"THE TRUTH MOVEMENT (1)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, January 2 2008 - As we see the Internet bringing people and movements together, these last years we have witnessed how conscious Rasta and Reggae websites team up with others in what is usually called the "Truth Movement".

Just like the Movement of Rastafari is diverse and cannot be placed in one "religious" box, so is this "Truth Movement".

Rootical Christians and conscious Rasta's, and those who are both, contribute to the Truth Movement in an increasing manner as well.

The Dubroom only contributes in a humble way to this massive Movement that only has one thing in common: A love for the truth.

A Happy New Calendar Year 2008!

Dubroom Online - Edition January 1, 2008

"A HAPPY NEW CALENDAR YEAR!" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, January 1 2008 - Greetings, and a heartical wish to you for a blessed calendar year 2008!

Whoever you may be, and whatever your reason may be to check out this edition of Dubroom Online, we wish you all the best for these next twelve months.

In 2008, the Dubroom will pay more attention to a lot of material related to our purpose of promoting Consciousness next to Reggae Music.

It all has to do with the Internet bringing people together, in what really is a movement that transcends physical and cultural borders without being just another aspect of "Globalism".

Dubroom Online - Edition December 31, 2007

"EVALUATING 2007 (10)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, December 31 2007 - This day concludes another calendar year. For the Dubroom, a turbulent and dynamic year in which the intensity increased.

People came together, from several parts of the globe, united in a love for the truth and a love for Reggae Music. Truthlovers were introduced to Reggae, and conscious Reggae lovers were introduced to other conscious people.

Next year, Jah Willing, we will pay much more attention to that other, enigmatic aspect of the Dubroom: Consciousness.

Have a peaceful transition!

WWW, December 30 2007 - Reviews, research and releases. The Dubroom teamed up with JAH Mark Ragsdale, who ran a small independent record store but also the Star Recordings Record Label.

In 2007, Star Recordings released the first ever Messian Dread CD-only album, called "Showcase".

More releases came from the Dubroom Star Selections Net Label, offering free downloads from Dubroom productions as well as works by other artists.

In 2008, the Net Label might just grow further, as the Dubroom Studio is also expanding.

"EVALUATING 2007 (8)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, December 29 2007 - A lot of the spiritual and other conscious material can be found on the Dubroom Messageboards.

Not only are all new reviews, releases and research re-posted on the boards so that in-depth discussions can (and do) take place, sometimes there is also news posted on the boards that will subsequently find their way to the website and beyond.

Just recently, for example, one of the contributors to the Dubroom Message Boards posted a news article about the Lakota nation in North America, who declared independence from USA, long before any mainstream media would pick it up.

When you are a self-respecting collector of Reggae Music, our reviews will definitely help you discovering the top material out here inna Cyberspace.

But the Dubroom also deals with topics that may not necessarily be related to music. this site also promotes consciousness, awareness, being awake to what's going on: from spirituality to more mondain topics.

Dubroom Online - Edition December 27, 2007

"EVALUATING 2007 (6)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, December 27 2007 - Not only did the Dubroom significantly expand in the are of musical reviews and releases, the spiritual side of everything was intense as well.

You's truly started what was later called "A Spiritual Journey Called Psalm 91". A rather enigmatic title for a process wherein I discovered my own spiritual identity to a deeper level and also started to write more openly about the supernatural experiences that I sometimes face.

Against fierce opposition, but with the help of stronger Idren and most of all: in the power of the Most High, I discovered the very mechanisms in which mystery Babylon keeps her followers "initiated", or to put it more accurate: in con-fusion.

"EVALUATING 2007 (5)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, December 26 2007 - In 2007, the Dubroom studio was significantly expanded with the coming of a digital drum kit.

This gave rise to the possibility of actually recording a full band in the same independence that gave birth to the Dubroom website.

Thus far, the Dubroom studio facilitated the mixing of DUB music and recording vocals, but a full blown band could not be recorded.

But now the Studio is in a process of becoming full-blown. All of this takes a lot of time, which will be taken in the year 2008.

WWW, December 25 2007 - Bandwidth, bandwidth, bandwidth. If there is one thing that dominated the Internet, it is the enormous growth of the Internet.

Online Videos took an enormous rise, with the result that the Dubroom contains 100's of reviews of great video material.

But to call 2007 the year if the Online Video, would not give credit to that other phenomenon: Podcasting!

Hours and hours of great programming: from authentic Sound Systems to historical edutainment to carefully selected compilations, Podcasting is here to stay.

Dubroom Online - Edition December 24, 2007

"EVALUATING 2007 (3)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, December 24 2007 - Ten years ago, there was no MP3 format. We released our music in MIDI format, and with that the Dubroom was one of the first websites where independent artists presented their music straight to the listeners.

The Dubroom hosted a few downloadable Real Audio files, and received feedback from concerned people who wondered if it was such a good idea to put music online for free download.

Now, the Dubroom has the largest collection of MP3 reviews, of which most can be downloaded for free.

In this year, Internet video went in warp-speed and so did the Dubroom Video review collection. In 2007, hundreds of Video Reviews were added. 2008 promises even more great material for the ear and eye!

Although Dubroom Online is posted first on the Dubroom front page, there are many more ways to keep yourself up-to-date.

Dubroom Online is also posted on MySpace and in Usenet's rec.music.reggae, the mother of all Reggae messageboards. It's also possible get every new edition through email, as we started posting on Blogspot as well.

WWW, December 21 2007 - Free flow of information and communication form two major ingredients for the fruitful developments of Consciousness in Cyberspace.

But is the Internet full of fakery and even outright danger in the same time?

Of course! But so is the Outernet...

But without the censorship of the mainstream media or even the "alternative", Truth lovers will find their way to the enormous wealth of niceness that can be found.

WWW, December 20 2007 - Reggae Music has served as a source of information for millions of people, long before there was an Internet open to the general public.

But now, Cyberspace is here!

Independent websites like the Dubroom provide services to the truth seekers and lovers of the rhythm of the drum and bassline alike, that could never be given in the "Outernet".

It's even so, that Cyberspace brings people together that would otherwise never have met each other.

WWW, December 19 2007 - There's an ancient prophecy in the Book of Life, that says: "In the End, knowledge will increase as many will do research and move to and fro".
A perfect description of the Internet, wouldn't you say so?

The message in Conscious Reggae Music is very much related to the message recorded in the ancient Book of Life.
It is a message that deserves and even demands further research. Research that could not be done until the Internet would open up to the general public.

WWW, December 18 2007 - The Dubroom promotes (DUB) Reggae and Consciousness, a combination that can not be appreciloved by everyone.

However, the Dubroom is still strong after ten years and can be seen as one of the first sites where the lyrics of Conscious Reggae are not just taken seriously, but put in a broader context.

In 2007, we fortunately see more and more websites and individuals doing the same thing with the result that we see some very interesting developments.

Consciousness in Cyberspace could very well be just a little bigger than you might think!
