FIRMLY PLANTED (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)
WWW, September 22 2007 - 1970's Reggae isn't called "Roots" because of it's age. Just look at the simple fact that there is Roots Music created today!
Roots Music is foundational Reggae music. Roots Reggae Music is firmly planted in green pastures. It stays the same, just grows and becomes even more firmly planted.
The word "Roots" indicates more than foundation, too. The word indicate life! Reggae Music is a living music. Because of the strong roots, there have been many fruitful seasons.
The music we have reviewed for today indicates all of this, and more. Give thanks to Jah for Roots Reggae Music!
Give Thanks, One Love,
Messian Dread (Dubroom Webmaster)
