"ONLINE DUB ARTISTS (18)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)
WWW, April 19 2009 - The current period wherein Net Labels seem to take the place of the free OMD's who let just about everyone upload their material with destructive results, is in my estimation a temporal one.
There is an obvious need for a website where artists can upload their material without being bothered by others who have no serious intentions. Thus far, these websites have been hijacked by social clubs that do not have the promotion of (DUB) Reggae in mind at all and are often totally ignorant when it comes to the spiritual aspects that inspire the majority of Reggae Artists.
In my idea, the waiting is for such a website to arise. It must be a website where there is a clear distinction between artists who take themselves and Reggae Music as a whole serious, and those who are just looking for a way to kill their free time.
