MYSTERY BABYLON (78)

Dubroom Online - Edition March 31, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (78)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, March 31 2008 - When Christopher Columbus planted a flag on land that was not his', he actually fulfilled a prophecy.

Ages before that, the god Quetzalquatl predicted to the Maya that "he" would "return" with "white people" to complete the "civilization project".

Truly, the racism that accompanied the global colonialization in what so many call the "Golden Age" is significant.

White people were told all about their alleged superiority. For some reason, they believed they has some kind of divine duty to rule over the other "races", to "civilize the savages".

But does this all have to do with human beings among themselves, or does it go further?

DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - The subtitle of this mix might be "Pause For The Cause", the first selection is a collaboration between Buju Banton and Culture called "Never Get Weary": welcome to another hour of Reggae, presented in authentic Sound System Style by one of the veterans in the business!

DJ Ian Irie of the Ambassada Hi Power Sound System comes again with a supermix of Conscious Reggae and DUB filled with effects and jingles in true Sound System Style.

The supermix contains many different styles of Reggae, from several times as well. But one of the strong points of the Ambassada is, that he knows how to mix all of this together into one by putting his own trademark on the overall sound.

Which sounds much more easy than it factually is!

ROOTICAL STYLE has Burning Spear, Tappa Zukie, Johnny Clarke to name but a few. Vocals are more often than not followed by DUB and every tune has some uplifting message for the Rootical Idren.

Pure Upfull Energy!

Dubroom Online - Edition March 30, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (77)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, March 30 2008 - JAH prevented the building of the Tower of Bab-el. It was an attempt to open the bottomless pit, an attempt to re-install the Days of Noah.

Ever since that debacle, Babylon has been moving her geographical location. She went north-west, eventually, and currently has her headquarters in Europe.

Even though most people look to the USA as the culprit of the current troubles in the world, the truth is that the "New Atlantis" as one "founding father" called it, is "just" a European colony.

Even further.

Europe itself should be seen as a Babylonian colony, too.

DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - DUB is very much a form of music that is produced in the studio. This highly recommended and remarkable Podcast brings the Studio on Stage with a well researched compilation of live recordings.

From Mad Professor to Bob Marley, from Power Steppers to Aswad and beyond...

Don't expect the most intense DUB mixing that can come out of the better DUB Studio. That's impossible, especially because modern technology enables the engineer to mix it up as if (s)he has 10 or more hands and live remains to require a one-take-only approach.

Don't expect a total lack of some serious dubbing either. If only because of Mad Professor who is known to Dub It all over the world, with or without band.

Do expect an interesting and well-researched compilation of DUB to DUB inspired live works by a wide variety of artists in the field of Reggae and DUB.

And expect them to play with the riddim and the mixing board!

"MYSTERY BABYLON (76)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, March 29 2008 - The fact that Christopher Columbus was funded from Venice, is significant. The word Venice or Venetia, namely, is a variation of the word Phoenician.

The early Phoenicians were key asset in the perpetuation of the Nephilim Bloodlines that form the global elite until this very day.

They were also the sea-faring nation that are now known to have been sailing all across the planet. Many researchers believe them to have been behind the mysterious copper mines in America.

The Bible mentions the Phoenicians and the Babylonians as having Satan himself as God, where they are also mentioned by the Babylonians themselves in their "Cremation of Care" ritual in the Bohemian Grove.

Venice was just a temporal location for Mystery Babylon to have a center, though.

JOE GIBBS SPECIAL
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - Unfortunately, Joe Gibbs passed away a few weeks before this review was written. February 21, 2008 was a sad day as an essential producer left us with a legacy of which this -great- Podcast only gives a small insight.

Joe Gibbs was born in 1943 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. After a stay in the USA, he went back to work in Jamaica's recording industry and was there when Ska became Rocksteady became Reggae.

He's responsible for Althea and Donna's Uptown Top Ranking, one of the first Reggae Hits in the UK. He's also behind Culture's massive album Two Sevens Clash, and June Lodge's 1980's hit "Someone Loves You Honey". The last release, though, cause him to go out of business for a while because of law suits.

This JOE GIBBS SPECIAL gives a nice overview of his work, until the man's carrier ended so abruptly.

The mix doesn't carry any of the obvious titles, which makes it kind of crucial as we hear some crucial 70's Rockers Reggae. It does carry eight great vocals and, not deniable, eight DUB and DJ tracks wherein the true power of Joe Gibbs productions become unmistakably clear.

A welcome addition!

"MYSTERY BABYLON (75)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, March 28 2008 - Babylon has moved her "Head Quarters" from the land of what we now know as Iraq, to Iran or Persia, to Greece, to Rome.

At least that had been foretold by the ancient prophet Daniel and world history confirms this, calling it the "origin and development of civilization".

Religion, culture, economics and politics are basically the same throughout the several phases of Mystery Babylon's development.

From the days of Nimrod to these days of George Bush, we see the development of a system that Reggae singer Peter Tosh referred to as a shitstem and rightly so...

Cause when you read in the Bible, you will find that JAH speaks about beasts, referring to the stages of this very same system!

DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - Step It In A Digital Style? Step It In Different Digital Styles could also be said, as this Podcast shows us eight different styles in eight different titles. Heavy DUB, an interesting remake of the classic "Smoking My Ganja", and words of the respectable Haile Selassie and MLK: let's step it!

This podcast surely gives an interesting insight in the many ways digitally based producers can work. The choice of the selection is remarkable and well thought out, while the music is presented in a no-nonsense style to let the music speak for itself.

Some cross the realms of Reggae to explore other regions, where others enter from these regions into the realm of Reggae.

We hear an interesting remake of the Drum Song Riddim and an even more interesting remake by the Soothsayers Horns of what was (one of the first) releases on the now legendary UK based Greensleeves Label: A ska-ish tune called Smoking Mi Ganja, originally performed by the band Capital Letters.

Step It! In A Digital Style will definitely have some very pleasant moments for those that usually do not like a digital style, even for those that usually look for a Reggae-only Podcast.

Step it!

WWW, March 27 2008 - Christopher Columbus planted a flag on land that was not his own and claimed it for the system that he worked for.

It was part of what is known as "The Plan", which became more clear when "Founding Father" Francis Bacon released a book called "The New Atlantis" to describe the "New World" we know as "America".

Officially, the story goes that the continent has been called America because of a guy called Amerigo.

But researchers found out that it is way more likely that the word comes from Amaru and basically means "Land of the Serpent".

The Serpent, or the old dragon called Satan...

WWW, March 2008 - The fact that Stop That Train #11 has a Messian Dread track in the mix is not the reason why you are reading this review. The Podcast is filled with crucial DUBS and vocals (in that order) and has a 30 minute presentation of Joe Gibbs productions as well.

The people who run the Stop That Train Podcast are the same ones that release material under the name Version Big-Fi. Their releases, remixes are as good as their Podcasts and so they receive awards.

The 11th episode starts off with heavy selection of DUB, old and new (skool). There's a Dubroom Production in the mix, so we give thanks for that. Other Online DUB Artists are featured, as well as an interesting remix of Bob Marley's "Is This Love" by the Version Big-Fi crew.

That's all in the first part of a magnificent 1 hour and 16 minutes worth of Old and New (skool) DUB and (other) Reggae Music.

The second part is reserved to memorize Joe Gibbs, who passed away, in February 2008. The fact that the all-time classic Uptown Top Ranking is included says enough about this respected Reggae producer who leaves an enormous legacy of essential material.

DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - US Based Reggae label Heartbeat is the official distributor of Studio One, which is a thing you really know after listening to "When Rhythm Was King". Version on Version of the classic sound of the Studio that gave birth to too many riddims to mention.

Joshua B, selector of the official Podcast by the Reggae Label, made sure that all disciplines of Reggae are represented in this presentation of Studio One material. Vocal Harmony groups, Singers, DJ's and DUB: it's all there.

The title refers to another release by the label, but in a way there's something to say about it. When you listen to contemporary Reggae and Dancehall, you will find that many of the original Studio One riddims are still used today. So, Riddim is still King.

The unmistakable sound of Jamaica's first recording Studio is perfectly captured in the Heartbeat re-release, and the fact that our host plays Version to Version should give us a hint where to go when we need to listen to that classic sound.

Nice (Studio) One!

WWW, March 25 2008 - Why did Quetzalquatl tell the Maya that he would return and complete his "civilization project" together with white people?

Personally I believe it was part of what insiders call the "Plan Of The Ages". It's a Plan that has been revealed in the Bible and uncovered by many researchers.

That Plan basically is to create a One World Order and restore the Days of Noah or "Atlantis".

Ages before Christopher Columbus was said to have "discovered" "America", even ages before Babylon had set her headquarters in Europe, it was already known how one day the "western hemisphere" would be under Babylonian rule.

WWW, March 2008 - Jimmy Cliff back in the 60's singing about Jamaica's independence, Brigadier Jerry in a live session on the Sound System of none other than Jack Ruby, and the always uplifting Fred Locks closing the show with one of his anthemic spiritual tracks: welcome to another gem in the already classic House of Reggae series.

Some call our host Ian an "archivist of Reggae", and he is definitely the right guy to do it. In fact, he's doing it and those who make sure that they have his complete series are wize.

As he walks up and down in the history of Reggae and pre-Reggae Jamaican Music, he makes sure that you know where you're listening too.

In the same time, he's not afraid to go into the spiritual and (anti) political message that can be found with Reggae and is so often misrepresented if mentioned at all by the mainstream Reggae historians.

He's the kind of guy that will quote Jimmy Cliff's comments on the fact that the Conservative Party in the UK used one of his tracks in their political campaign. You have to listen to the Podcast to get to know it, but we'll quote the comment of our host: "Nice One, Jimmy!"

He's also the kind of guy that will tell us all about the history of the famous Nottinghill Carnival and how it relates to violent racism in the UK. That's before he explains the inspiration of Junior Murvin's classic "Police and Thieves" and subsequently plays a crucial tune that was inspired by the Junior Murvin track.

The information that he gives between his excellent musical selections and occasional sound effect, is the kind of information you want to have fe true.

WWW, March 23 2008 - The ancient mystery teachings of Quetzalquatl in South America are exactly the same as the ones found in ancient Babylon and in fact all over the world.

These teachings speak about a "Plan of the Ages", basically Nimrod's blueprint to re-install the Days of Noah: a one world order wherein humankind is merged with what the Bible calls the "Seed of the Serpent".

Quetzalquatl told the ancient Maya at his departure, that he would return in a later period along with "white men" like himself.

White men would come indeed, and they would come indeed to bring the kind of "civilization" that truth identifies as "Babylon".

Ancient?

The god of the Maya's, a white man who had the flying serpent as his symbol and listened to the name Quetzalquatl had told the ancient Maya's how in later times white men would come with some huge blessings.

The concept of having the drum and bass lines lead instead of just serve as foundation, has extended beyond Reggae Music and DUB is largely responsible for that.

TRANSCONTINENTAL GROOVES is a smooth ride on a wide variety of Drum and Basslines. It's truly a transcontinental trip, for where one speaks about a riddim, another may speak about a groove and still may be talking about the same tune.

And call it DUB, too.

"MYSTERY BABYLON (68)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, March 21 2008 - The "discovery" of "America" can not be seen apart from all the other globalization efforts that came out of Europe during these last centuries.

The crusades, slavery, colonialization, imperialism: it's going on until this very day and it is not something that started yesterday either.

In fact, research and the Bible reveal how what we now know as world history is predominantly the working out of a plan that originated around the time Nimrod failed to build his Tower-of-Babel.

It is a plan the Bible calls the "Mystery of Iniquity" as well as "Mystery Babylon". It's a plan to unify the world under one political, social and religious order.

DUBWISE SELECTION
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - DJ Delay has been mixing Reggae shows at least since 1990. After blessing the city of Melbourne, he now blesses the Word Wide Web with an hour of World Wide DUB, mostly from the last two decades.

There are one or two vocal tracks in the DUBWISE SELECTION. Doesn't matter, they're mixed in DUB style too.

At least, most of them.

For the rest, DJ Delay takes us on a World Wide DUB Trip and shows us how the technique has become an established discipline in Reggae, even creating new styles within the realms of the music.

In the cool, one-hour mix there is a special attention for Adrian Sherwood's DUB experiments and the Germany based Tikiman (Paul St Hilair) and Rhythm & Sound, while we visit the Netherlands too for some Twilight Circus at the end.

Love DUB? Love this DUBWISE SELECTION!

SODOM AND GOMORRAH: FOUND!

SODOM AND GOMORRAH: FOUND!
BABYLON OBSERVER VIDEO REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - The biblical story of Sodom and Gomorrah is widely known, and, just like it was before the actual city of Troy was discovered, considered by many to be just a mere myth.

Until now, that is...

The word "Sodomy" refers to a specific sexual act, often connected with homosexuality. The New Testament states that there was indeed something sexual going on at Sodom and Gomorrah, but it had nothing to do with any human sexuality persay, especially not homosexuality.

The angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, Jah hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. (Jud 1:6,7)
Given the fact that Jude used the word "heteros" to describe the flesh that the Sodomites were running after, and given the fact that this same Jude makes the connection with "Angels that kept not their first estate", it becomes clear that biblical Sodomy refers to sex with angelic beings, aliens as they are called today.

The days of Noah in a nutshell, if you will. Genesis 6 tells us how these angelic beings came down and created a hybrid offspring between them and humans called the Nephilim. These Nephilim threatened the very existence of humankind and so Jah sent the Great Flood as a judgement on the angelic being called Watchers and their unholy Offspring called the Nephilim.

This particular practice went on after the Great Flood, even until today. Cities like Sodom and Gomorrah were known because of this practice and the Bible tells us how JAH sent down brimstone from heaven to destroy these places.

A myth, some would say.

A myth, just like the city of Troy was considered a myth before it's actual discovery.

Not anymore, though.

The physical remains of Sodom and Gomorrah have been found and video-taped. Look at 26 minutes of convincing evidence that proofs once again that "truth is stranger than fiction"...

MYSTERY BABYLON (67)

Dubroom Online - Edition March 20, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (67)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, March 20 2008 - Christopher Columbus knew what he was doing, when he "discovered America".

Sponsored by elite who knew themselves to be from the line of the ancient Phoenicians, he simply made use of what was already known.

Take the Piri Reis map, for example. This Turkish map pre-dates Columbus and is said to be a copy of even older maps. It has America on there, and even Antarctica as it is without snow.

Columbus was simply following orders and created a story that doesn't handle scrutiny too well.

For obviously, contacts between people of all continents have to go as far back as the existence of these people, otherwise we are not created out of one blood!

MIKEY DREAD PASSED AWAY!

MIKEY DREAD PASSED AWAY
DUBROOM (DUB) REGGAE NEWS AND VIEWS

WWW, March 2008 - Last March 15 was a sad day for friends, family and fans of Michael Campbell aka Mikey "Dread At The Controls" Dread. It was on that day that the first Jamaican Reggae Radio DJ passed away...

Mikey Dread was born in 1954 on June 4 in Portland, Jamaica. At age 54, he lost a battle against brain cancer and died in Connecticut, USA.

He was the first to take Reggae Music to Jamaican Radio Station where for years he had his own "Dread At The Controls" Radio show. Just recently, that show was more or less re-launched on the Internet and has been reviewed by the Dubroom.

The many jingles produced for the Dread At The Controls show are still used by broadcasters, Podcasters and artists until this very day, including the Dubroom's own Messian Dread.

The brother also toasted and produced many tracks for his own Dread At The Controls label. Classic tunes by Mikey Dread are "Barber Saloon", "Propper Education" and "Israel Style".

It's too sad, that we have to say goodbye to the one and only Mikey Dread, knowing that there are people who use his name to make themselves some fame, and knowing that the real Mikey Dread was aware of this situation too.

It's with respect and gratefulness that we do say goodbye to the Real Mikey Dread, a talented and humble Lion who has done more for Reggae Music than most of us will ever know.

WWW, March 19 2008 - The Mayan god or "bringer of civilization" Quetzalquatl predicted how he would return to South America with "white men".

In the same time, we know that Christopher Columbus didn't "discover America" at all either. He "merely" planted a flag on land that was not his.

The sponsors of Christopher Columbus were Venetian blue-bloods who knew themselves to be related to ancient Phoenician "royal" bloodlines.

The Phoenicians traveled all over the world in ancient times, and they are said to have been white-skinned Nephilim or Serpent Seed rather than human beings.

MYSTERY BABYLON (65)

Dubroom Online - Edition March 18, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (65)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, March 18 2008 - The discovery of traces of cokane and tobacco in mummified bodies of ancient Egyptian Pharaohs show how there were connections between the continent we know as America and the Middle East.

Early Hebrew, Greek, and Phoenician artifacts have been discovered in America, too. There were trade lines between all continents from even before the time Christ walked on earth.

All of this apart from the fact, of course, that we are all human. Even though we are spread over all continents, we are one blood, we come from that seed of Adam and Eve.

In itself, these things proof how Christopher Columbus did not "discover" "America" at all. He knew exactly what he was doing and it wasn't his idea either.

It's too bad, that our UK based host doesn't provide play-lists at this current moment. But that should not keep you from downloading the mixes that he puts out here inna Cyberspace.

The titles say it all, for the time being. Even though the Dubroom reviews say a little more, too.

Things like: "This is a must-download", for example, as this website only puts out positive reviews. After all, there's no use in having to read reviews about material that isn't interesting to check out in the first place.

Dub's Heavy Rock Mix contains a more than interesting selection of Rockers and Rub a DUB, nicely mixed in a no-nonsense style for maximum enjoyment of the music itself. Singers, DJ's and of course DUB engineers galore in a 77 minute mix that can surely carry the title that it does.

WWW, March 17 2008 - The ancient Maya believed how white men would come as ambassadors of Quetzalquatl, who founded their civilization.

It doesn't take a long course in world history to see how their prophecy was fulfilled. White men did come, stole their land, and took Africans as slaves to build the "New World".

However, there is enough evidence to proof how Christopher Columbus did not "discover America" at all. The only difference between him and the countless ones before him was, that he planted his flag on land that was not his'.

In other words, the "discovery" of "America" was part of a globalization plan and it came straight out of Europe.

WWW, March 16 2008 - The ancient Maya claim that their civilization was founded by a white man whose symbol is the flying serpent.

His name is Quetzalquatl, and he looks suspiciously like Nimrod, the founder of Bab-el. He wasn't a human being, at least not anymore, and was in direct communication with the Great Serpent, Satan himself.

He build the Pyramids where so many child sacrifice would be practiced, and taught the ancient Maya's exactly the same religion as he did throughout the rest of the world where he came.

At the time he was about to die, he told the Maya that he would go away but would return later with a lot of white people to complete building his civilization.

Studio One is to be considered by every lover of Reggae Music. Too many riddims have originated in Coxsonne Dodd's studio. Too many artists entered the studio during some early time in their carrier.

Not every artist stayed with Studio One all the way, though. In fact, most moved on.

Not so with the Reggae DJ Lone Ranger. His classic "Other Side Of DUB" was recently re-issued by Heartbeat Records and this Podcast features a couple of tunes from that album with their version.

DJ Dennis Alcapone also had a crucial album released by Studio One, which was recently re-released by the American label. Forever Version is the name, and it gets the same treat by host Joshua B: we hear the DJ track and another version.

Everywhere you go on the planet, you will find ancient Phoenician artifacts to proof they were there. They founded Venetia and we can trace many of the current royal bloodlines back to the Venetian royalty of old.

But since the same can be said about certain Dancehall mixes, the US based DUB SESSIONS Podcasts shouldn't be seen as a stricktly Reggae mix but that is by no means a reason to lay it aside.

Right!

"MYSTERY BABYLON (59)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, March 12 2008 - The ancient prophet Daniel wrote "they will mingle themselves with the seed of men" in his description of Babylon's final version.

Ages before that, JAH had told the first humans that there would be "enmity" between the "seed of the woman" and the "seed of the serpent".

Before the great flood, this Serpent Seed was well represented on the earth and only Noah and his family were left untainted in the mix-up of human DNA with that of angelic beings called the Watchers or Sons of God.

Mix-up, by the way, is another word for a con-fusion: something is mixed that should not be mixed at all.

And con-fusion is the direct translation of the word Babel when translated out of the Hebrew language.

MIXED UP MOODS VER. TWO
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - MIXED UP MOODS VERSION TWO brings us an overview of Jamaican Music from the last several decades. In a very interesting mix, we are being treated to known and -more appealing- unknown material, carefully selected by Brooklyn-based DJ Dr. Tahl.

Reggae Music has the ability to absorb the vibes-of-the-times in a way that no other music is able to do. Toots and the Maytalls once made a tune about it, called "Reggae got Soul", but you can easily say that Reggae has Rock or Reggae has Techno.

This very fact becomes clear when you listen to the first tunes in DJ Dr. Tahl's second edition of Podcasts he called "Mixed Up Moods". Very soulful, very Reggae too... It was the music of the seventies, but because Reggae is still Reggae, the music will also appeal to young people of today, which cannot be said about most -dated!- Soul Music.

Mixed Up Moods Version Two simply gives us an overview of several decades. Decades wherein Reggae Music may have changed in presentation and instrumentation, but not in strength and power.

Simply essential!

WWW, March 11 2008 - In South-America, you can find skulls and skeletons of ancient rulers. They are called "Cone Heads", because of their unusual shape.

Throughout the world, we find ancient pictures of these very same rulers, for example in Egypt where the Pharaoh's were believed to be children of the gods.

A 4000 year old Sumerian statue shows us, how these beings had a reptilian shape but were very humanoid as well. The statue shows a female being breast-feeding her child, which is kind of unusual since reptiles don't breast-feed their children.

The Bible also speaks about these beings and calls them "Seed of the Serpent".

INTRU MENTALITY - A RIDE ON THE B-SIDE
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - When the Jamaican labels started to release instrumental versions on the B-sides of their 7" singles back in the 1960's, this marked the start of one of the most innovative disciplines in Music Production, which would be DUB.

Brooklyn based DJ Dr. Tahl introduces us the wonderful world of the B-Side: from instrumental versions to spaced out remixes.

Eek A Mouse made his own blend of DJ-ing and singing popular with the incredible Wa-Do-Dem. "Everyone" knows the tune, but not the DUB Version that came with the original 7" release.

A thing which the Brooklyn based DJ Dr. Tahl can cure for sure, and so he does in this great Version Excursion avant la lettre.

Instru Mentality: A Ride On The B-Side gives us some of the hardest DUBS ever to be released on the Jamaican B-sides. At least, the Podcast gives us the answer as to why certain people are more interested in that B-Side than in the A-side.

DUB definitely brings out the best of Reggae, as the engineer behind the mixing board becomes an artist himself by adding effects and interacting with the recorded music in many other ways as well.

Tougher than Tough!

THE SERPENT SEED

CONEHEADS IN PERU AND SUMERIAN STATUE

WWW, March 2008 - Skulls of Cone Heads in Peru, a Sumerian statue of a cone head Reptilian ruler breast feeding her baby, and an Egyptian picture of a cone head Pharaoh: Introducing the serpent seed that claims "divine right to rule"...

The pictures below show us a particular type of beings that are definitely not human and definitely not animals. You could call them "beasts", though, or "Serpent Seed".

These are the nephilim, the unholy offspring of the Watchers or Sons of God and human women. Many of the nephilim are mentioned by name in ancient manuscripts, as they interacted with the gods and humans while claiming the "divine right to rule".
