MYSTERY BABYLON (16)

Dubroom Online - Edition January 20, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (16)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, January 20 2008 - After Nimrod's failure to open up the bottomless pit, his failure to build the tower of Babel, he travelled all over the world to establish a One World Order.

Obviously, he didn't succeed.

He knew he would not live to see the day in which there would be a Global Government run by the very same beings that ran things before the Great Flood.

So he started a process, a plan, which we know as Mystery Babylon or the Mystery of Iniquity.

A plan to re-install the situation on the earth as it was in the days of Noah: a One World Order under the rule of "the gods" and the offspring they had with human beings.

More Tomorrow...

Give Thanks, One Love,
Messian Dread (Dubroom Webmaster)

DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, January 2008 - UK based Reggae Music has a history almost as long as Jamaican Reggae. A history that has, next to the obvious similarities, a number of significant differences. One of these differences is perfectly illustrated in the 5th episode of the Potcast.

You guessed it: one hour of stricktly heavyweight (electronic) DUB, UK Style. Electronic devices and militant basslines form two main ingredients of this DUB experience extra-ordinary, as we are being introduced to a style of Reggae that truly fund it's origin in the UK based studio's of JAH Shaka, Adrian Sherwood, Mad Professor and Dennis Bovell.

We won't find an all-star list in this show, though. Next to well known engineers like Steve Vibronics and Ariwa's very own Mad Professor, we're taken into deep space by a number of lesser known producers as well.

Relaxed One Drop rhythms have their place next to ultra militant Steppers drums. The long echo's and other unidentified flying phased-out sound effects accompany us from the top to the very last drop of yet another great episode of this Potcast.

Not for the weakhearts!
