MYSTERY BABYLON (85)

Dubroom Online - Edition April 7, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (85)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, April 7 2008 - The Ethiopian Book of Enoch explains a lot of things concerning the Nephilim or the Serpent Seed.

The pre-flood prophet taught, that when Nephilim die, they become the demons or evil spirits that roam the earth, looking for bodies to possess.

This particular piece of information is essential to discover how it can be, that people would identify others or themselves with the Nephilim.

Possession, namely, isn't such a rare thing as some people believe. Equally, it's a fact that when someone is possessed, the demon who possesses the human actually changes that person on many levels.

DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - Brooklyn based DJ Dr. Tahl comes again and this time he has an interesting set of material originally released by the Jamaican Clocktower Label. This means: Mighty Diamonds, Augustus Pablo, Linvall Thompson and more Reggae niceness!

Clock Tower was a Brooklyn based Reggae label, that would release Jamaican Music. Linvall Thompson, for example, was a frequently released artist. Johnny Clarke and Augustus Pablo were two others, and so you know what to expect when Brooklyn based DJ Dr. Tahl presents some of the music that was released just around his corner.

1970's Roots Rockers Reggae, much DUB and Conscious tracks and a couple of lighter tunes to nice it up: here is Dr Tahl's excellent presentation of more-than-excellent Roots Music that hasn't lost one inch of strength along the decades.

Dubroom (DUB) Reggae Video Review

WWW, April 2008 - Based on a Dennis Brown sample, Junior Kelly takes Reggae into a next dimension with an enlighting and entertaining musical work in Sight and Sound.

We start off with Junior Kelly performing over a Dennis Brown sample, accompanied by a video clip that in itself says enough. Junior gets confronted by many aspects of Babylon System but simply carries on, while Dennis Brown chants "Hold On To What You Got" during the entire tune.

But Jamaican Reggae singer Junior Kelly is not the only one you can enjoy in this video clip by the US based Caribbean TV channel. After the great Reggae tune we go straight to Africa and enjoy a performance by Zimbabwean singer Oliver Mtukudzi crying unto the Most High for relief.

A more than interesting combination.
