VARIOUS ARTISTS - THE LOST BOOKS OF DUB CHAPTER TWO
DUBROOM MP3 ALBUM REVIEW

READ REVIEW, GET THE MUSIC AND MORE

WWW, May 2014 - The second installment of the "Lost Book Of Dubs" features 20 massive Roots Reggae and DUB works by both well and lesser known names. This is another album that should not be absent in the collection of any self-respecting collector of the better works, and not just because it is offered free of charge by the DUB Iration Sound System!

Usually, a little name dropping sets the stage but this would absolutely not be justifiable in the case of "Lost Books 2". This is a release in the "all-killer-no-filler" category, where we're taken from a militant steppers to a meditative two drop and back again, while conscious messages are being delivered all the time as well.

SAMPLE RADAR
DUBROOM WEBSITE REVIEW

Visit Website

WWW, May 2014 - Whether you're looking for free and legal horns, guitars, percussion or even vocal samples to use in your productions, one visit to Sample Radar will provide you with gigabytes of just that and more.

From complete construction kits of Dub Reggae to detailed percussion samples, from ad lib vocals to complete brass sections divided per chord, from crucial guitars to soundscapes: your (DUB) Reggae productions will absolutely benefit from the material presented at the Sample Radar website. In the same time, you will benefit from the fact that you do not have to pay a single penny or even register to download the material.

We're not talking about a single package of niceness, we are talking about 10's of gigabytes of High Quality royalty free audio. After all, the material was first presented through well-known magazines like Future Music which in itself stands for a specific level of quality. Yes, professional stuff.

Let's take a look at just a few packages.

There's a huge Ska archive, which you will definitely want to check out because of the excellent horns and organ bubbles. Everything divided in maps for easy find. Four different construction kits for Dub/Reggae: excellent instrumental play, and so easy to do that even beginners can create a track that they will really like to share with others.

Percussion and guitar samples are present in an overwhelming amount. Take the excellent conga samples, truly inspiring to create that Roots vibe even by simply using the sound of the hand drum. Download the Funk Guitar loops for crucial Wah Wah Guitar effects, all of which are presented per tone in several maps.

Whatever it is you are looking for, or even when you're not sure what to do at all, you have to visit Sample Radar because of self evident reasons.

MESSIAN DREAD - MAN FROM GALILLEE ACAPELLA

MESSIAN DREAD - MAN FROM GALILLEE ACAPELLA
STUDIO DUBROOM DOWNLOAD

To Download Page

WWW, May 2014 - Attention Dub Producers: you can now download the lead and backing vocals as well as drum, bass, chords and even midi with musical data from Messian Dread's track "Man From Galilee" for free!

The package comes with several wave files you can simply insert in your audio sequencer at 125 BPM and everything will play in sync, enabling you to create your very own musical track around the dry vocals. Backing and lead vocals come seperatly.

The musical audio files (with the exception of the bass line) are there primarily for guidance. The original drums are not included and the chords can be re-programmed much more interestingly. There's a midi file containing the chords as well as the bass line for your reference.

The audio is completely dry. No effects whatsoever, so you can create your very own sound by using your own reverbs or whatever. You might need to normalize the vocal files and/or others, there is no volume balance between the instruments. You really need to create your own musical track but then, that's what you want anyway as a self-respecting producer of (DUB) Reggae Music.

More instructions and a license are included in the package, which you can download as a RAR file or ZIP. Click "DOWNLOAD" to be directed to the Download page.

Sixteen loops, all in 80/160 BPM, G Minor Key and in Wave Audio. Trumpets and Trombones, played real by real horn blowers. You have to fill in your email adress at the download page and you will be given a download link.

MESSIAN DREAD - HIS IMPERIAL DUBWISE

MESSIAN DREAD - HIS IMPERIAL DUBWISE
DUBROOM NET LABEL RELEASE

Visit Download Page

WWW, May 2014 - Presented in two different versions, each with their own distinctive vibe: His Imperial Dubwise is the first release in the new Messian Dread/Dubroom sound. New Sound? Yes! Check out the result of a major upgrade while picking up a Dub that can be described as a must-hear for everyone with an opinion about His Imperial Majesty.

It's not just the real horns and other instruments, it's not just the effects and the obvious improvement in the quality of the sound, it's not just the vocals. It's that and more. It's a new step in the sound development of the Dubroom Studio as everyone can hear.

His Imperial Dubwise comes in two different mixes. The first one contains 4 minutes of intense mixing where no instrument or vocal is left unchanged by the effects. Effects that are evidently different and better than the ones used before. It's in this first mix that you can really check that out for yourself while the extended Dub which follows carries a message that is as relevant and important as it was when it was delivered back in 1966.

It's all about a speech entitled "One Race, One Gospel, One Task". He spoke the words in Berlin during an evangelical congress organized by the well known evangelist Billy Graham. Addressing christian evangelists and leaders, he encouraged them to spread the Good News of Jah Salvation. But not after having been welcomed with an ovation that lasted well over a minute. And not after having been introduced as the obvious choice of "Chief of State to come and greet us in the Name of Christ" by Billy Graham himself.

Yes, we are speaking about an introduction to the Biblical and spiritual relevance of Ethiopiah and His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie the First. An introduction that transcended merely opening for a speech back in '66 as Billy Graham sums up the many reasons why his choice of Ethiopiah and H.I.M. to address a congress of evangelists and other workers for Christ is so obvious.

This release can therefore serve as an educational tool while the new sound which is currently under development can be discovered in -especially- the first track. The effects and techniques used are new, at least partly. At the time of this release (May 2014), there's hard work in the studio as many tracks are produced which Jah willing be eventually released and they will hopefully surprise both friend and foe.

This two track release is presented as 128/320 Kbps MP3 Files or true CD Quality WAVE Audio, as usual with releases out of the Dubroom Studio. Click "DOWNLOAD" to go to the Download Page. All Rights reserved © 2014 Messian Dread/Dubroom
