WWW, May 17 2010 - Greetings once again! A who say, that they Don't Like Mondays? Hopefully, not those that get Dubroom Weekly in their mailbox or visit the Dubroom every Monday for yet another healthy doses of crucial free and legal (DUB) Reggae Music

This week, we've got a Dubmatix MP3 Special, two renderings of the Kick Hard riddim, as well as some early Dancehall tunes by well-known names such as Wayne "Sleng-Teng" Smith, Chaka Demus and Nardo Ranks.

In the same time, there's now some serious plans to release Dubroom Podcasts but since everything has to be free and legal this is going to take a little bit of communication and planning here and there. More information in the 29th edition of Dubroom In-Site, which you can read after downloading the MP3's of this week.

Lastly, check out the brand new MP3 Top 10 as well as our featured MP3 artist: more than enough music, if such a thing was possible, that is...

DUBMATIX - BLADE AND CHALICE

DUBMATIX - BLADE AND CHALICE
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

dubmatix

WWW, May 2010 - In this nicely done Roots Reggae production, Dubmatix brings us another upfull musical message in word, sound and power.

Blade and Chalice contains some nice slices of Dub mixing and a crucial Message which shows just how empty Reggae Music without Jah.

DUBMATIX AND HOWIE SMART - HARD ROAD

DUBMATIX AND HOWIE SMART - HARD ROAD
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

Dubmatix

WWW, May 2010 - Howie Smart meets Dubmatix in a Roots Reggae meeting of which the results have yet to be released on disc.

Hard Road is more than crucial: a catchy Rockers riddim and the voice of original Skatalites member Howie Smart singing a song of praise and consciousness on top of it. A truly spiritual Roots Reggae track in the most Orthodox tradition.

JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

DUBMATIX AND HOWIE SMART - LET THE POWER

DUBMATIX AND HOWIE SMART - LET THE POWER
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

Dubmatix

WWW, May 2010 - Original Skatalites member Howie Smart chants it up to the Most High while Canadian producer Dubmatix provides a well-fitting One Drop riddim to accompany the prayer.

In "Let The Power", Howie Smart sings two classic lyrics which give thanks and praises to the Creator Jah while acknowledging His Power which shall break every chain to set Jah people free again.

The well-fitting music, provided and produced by Toronto based Dubmatix is Ire, almost in a Gospel style because of some organ lines but stays within the wide realms of Reggae.

Dubmatix is a name to not only remember, but actively speak about to your fellow lovers of the better DUB and (other) Reggae Music.

DUBROOM IN-SITE #29

THREE WEEKS LATER...

WWW, May 2010 - This episode of Dubroom In-Site shall JAH Willing be featured in the fourth edition of Dubroom Weekly. In the mean time, plans are continued to work out and Dubroom Weekly itself gets a bit of a character, too.

The fourth edition of Dubroom Weekly will be featuring a lot of reviews of free and legal MP3 files. Additionally, new features have been established which let people download tracks directly from the Dubroom Weekly pages. Yes: MP3 files is still the main feature of Dubroom Weekly and it will probably stay like that for a while.

That is not to say that nothing else is going on...

Some test recording have already been done under the motto of Dubroom Radio. The plans are to upload Podcasts to the Internet very soon but certain things have to be settled, copyright issues being one of them. In the mean time, it definitely looks like Podcasts will soon be available.

The MP3 Portal is also under maintenance. New reviews and artists are added, slowly the MP3 Artist pages will contain direct download links to the reviewed MP3 files. One example is the NO MORE BABYLON MP3 PAGE.

A new feature at mp3.dubroom.org is the Dubroom Compilations. The first compilation will be presented in the fourth edition of Dubroom Weekly, but can also be found HERE. One reason why the Dubroom Podcasts have to be online pretty soon is that the compilations should also be available for download as a long mix file.

In the meantime, the weekly editions of Dubroom Online shall Jah Willing continue to provide the reader with some great free and legal MP3 files as well as information about (DUB) Reggae and Consciousness, as you're used to get from the Dubroom.
