"THIS IS THE DUBROOM (1)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)
WWW, October 26 2009 - Greetings! I hope you don't mind that Jah Willing, the next days I'll use my column to explain a little bit just why the Dubroom is the site that it is.
The reason for that is that I've seen some rather confusing speculations, basically giving the idea that the Dubroom's aim is to make money or at least to increase traffic at any cost.
However, neither money nor traffic drives me to maintain the Dubroom. What drives me is love, love for (DUB) Reggae Music and love for the consciousness that people can get when they listen to Reggae Music with an open heart and mind.
Even though there are many things outright wrong in Reggaeland, and even though it's possible to have endless debates as to what exactly is Consciousness, I do love (DUB) Reggae and Consciousness and that made me start the Dubroom in 1997.
One Love, Give Thanks,
Messian Dread (Dubroom Webmaster)
