MYSTERY BABYLON (81)

Dubroom Online - Edition April 3, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (81)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, April 3 2008 - When Adolph Hitler spoke to the Europeans, many thought how he would be referring to them in his rants about "Aryans".

But Hitler spoke about his dream of creating the Neue Mensch or the "New Man". To him, the European people were not his goal, they were merely a step to reach that goal.

That goal was, how surprisingly, to create the rebirth of Atlantis by genocide and genetic manipulation of those humans which he thought were "fit extensions", to use a biblical phrase.

The Aryans finally turned out to be nothing more than a race of Nephilim, unholy offspring of sexual relations between the gods and human women, from the days of Noah.

More Tomorrow...

Give Thanks, One Love,
Messian Dread (Dubroom Webmaster)

DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - Reggae can absorb the vibe of any style or era and this Podcast captures the early 1970's when Funk was hot. Reggae got Soul, Reggae got Dance, Reggae got Funk as well!

No less than 22 tracks await us in another thematic Podcast by DJ Chill Will of the Dubsessions Podcast series. Altogether, his series are a valuable source of vibes and everything DUB, sometimes more outside the realms of Reggae than the average Reggae Fan would prefer.

The theme he choose for this Podcast, most definitely set him for more than a difficult task. How Funky can it get? How Funky did it get?

You'd be surprised.

Or maybe not. In which case, you know what (not) to do.

Dubroom (DUB) Reggae Video Review

WWW, April 2008 - Over 26 years ago, the Mad Professor was already mixing it up live while band and vocalists play some upfull righteous Roots Reggae.

One of the things that the Mad Professor is known for, other than his excellent DUB releases, is the fact that he has given a stage for, even basically created the phenomenon of the "Roots Daughters": female Reggae vocalists singing conscious lyrics over serious music.

Sistren like Aisha and also Sandra Cross, who was a member of a band called the Wild Bunch before going solo. In this video, we catch up with them all in a historic performance that will thrill the lover of Conscious Roots Reggae, both young and old.

Blessed!
