MYSTERY BABYLON (133)

Dubroom Online - Edition June 6, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (133)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, June 6 2008 - JAH, the Creator, has revealed Mystery Babylon and He called her "Confusion".

The word is often used to describe a state wherein this-and-that is not as clear as it should be: a perfect description of those who are initiated and believe they are working for the Gateway to (the) God(s).

But there's something more about the word, and this can be seen in another description of Mystery Babylon that we find in that book called the Apocalypse, the Revelation.

We find, that Mystery Babylon is also called "Mother of harlots". Now, is it a co-incidence, that the core-business of a harlot is con-fusion, too?

Con-fusion, as in: mixing that which should not be mixed. For when a harlot and her customer become one flesh, they are con-fusing that which should not be fused.

TRACK DESCRIPTION

This is the 9th track of my album "Showcase".

The track starts off with hand drums playing, while the drum and bass sound like they're try to get in.
And so they do...

Other instruments drop in too, and together they work to the point where the horns start playing a theme to introduce the lyrics.

Lyrics that deal with the music, and how to enjoy it: through the rhythm of the drum and bass, naturally.

Towards the end of the track, there's a little toasting in true Rub a Dub style (Bang biddle bang), and the tune ends the same as it started: with the hand drums, pointing out to the roots of all Reggae Music.
