DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW
WWW, March 2008 - Brooklyn based DJ Dr. Tahl comes again and this time he has an interesting set of material originally released by the Jamaican Clocktower Label. This means: Mighty Diamonds, Augustus Pablo, Linvall Thompson and more Reggae niceness!
Clock Tower was a Brooklyn based Reggae label, that would release Jamaican Music. Linvall Thompson, for example, was a frequently released artist. Johnny Clarke and Augustus Pablo were two others, and so you know what to expect when Brooklyn based DJ Dr. Tahl presents some of the music that was released just around his corner.
1970's Roots Rockers Reggae, much DUB and Conscious tracks and a couple of lighter tunes to nice it up: here is Dr Tahl's excellent presentation of more-than-excellent Roots Music that hasn't lost one inch of strength along the decades.
