"RED, GOLD AND GREEN (2)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)
WWW, November 7 2007 -The African Tricolor has a story to tell, told by vocalists on countless of Reggae tunes.
Red stands for the blood of the people, who were robbed from their homeland in order to work as slaves in what was called the "New World".
Yellow stands for the gold that was taken from the land of Africa and brought into the realm of the Red White and Blue, the so-called Judeo-Christian Civilization of the west that is identified by so many Reggae artists as "Babylon".
Green stands for the land of Creation, for Africa specifically. The land where everything began, according to Genesis 1.
