BALAGANJAH: ROOTS AND CULTURE STYLE

BALAGANJAH: ROOTS AND CULTURE STYLE
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, January 2008 - From the Holy Land, with love for Reggae Music and for the people: introducing Balaganjah to the online massive!

Balaganjah is more than just a weekly Reggae Radio show in Tel Aviv. The program has had a host of guests, for example, ranging from the Netherlands based King Shiloh to Carlton Livingston and many others.

In this episode we meet up with selectors Ganjah Vibes and Skunkride. They play a number of 1970's material, in style. Every now and then, we feel a little effect, jingle or spoken phrase.

Great selection, too! Burning Spear's "Jah is my Driver", for example, coming with excellent DUB version. The unforgettable "Lot's Wife" by Prince Alla is another gem that simply cannot be refused by those that apprecilove the better worlks from the 1970's.
