DUBROOM IN-SITE 9
WWW, October 2008 - After a rather long break, October 15 marks the date in which the Dubroom will again be updated daily. In the meantime, several new weblogs have been created in order to serve the Dubroom visitors and readers more efficiently.
One and a half month is a long time, especially when you're used to working almost 24/7. But, time out is sometimes necessary. If only, because ideas pop up during such breaks.
One of these ideas was, to create several new weblogs for the different things the Dubroom deals with. Major advantages, but let's mention one: Everyone can subscribe to the feed they love and are not bothered by stuff they don't wanna be bothered with.
Of course, it takes a while to create all these weblogs and needless to say that all this is still in the constructional phase. Currently, we're working on the following:
- Dubroom (DUB) Reggae Reviews: This weblog will contain stricktly reviews of (DUB) Reggae Music. From albums to vinyl, from free mp3's to online video's.
- Ifficial Blog of Messian Dread: The latest articles, updates, meditations, and more. This Ifficial blog will be more personal.
- Babylon Observer: The latest Babylon Observer publications will be posted along with interesting news items from other websites. Hopefully, this weblog will have several contributors.
- Center for Research on Christianity: News and views from the religious system we know as "Christianity", CRC items will be posted along with interesting news item from other websites. Hopefully, this weblog will have several contributors too.
There will possibly be more weblogs. Of course each blog will contain links to the other members of this "Dubroom blog family". And of course, the main weblog will stay as it is for those who "just" want to be informed as usual.
The additional weblogs, therefore, are a true addition. They do not replace anything, they simply add.
Hopefully, it will also be more easy for people to post comments, as nobody has to register for that. Hopefully, there will also be more people who will contribute to especially the Babylon Observer and CRC blogs. Thus far, this only happened at the Dubroom Messageboards but one and ones have to register to participate to name but one disadvantage.
Anyway, I hope that this addition will turn out to be of service to you, the Dubroom reader and visitor.
One Love, Give Thanks,
Messian Dread (Dubroom Webmaster)
