DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW
WWW, November 2008 - "Ooh, La La" would the standard French or Quebec reaction to a mix like this one. Rockers and Rub a Dub Style, including quite a few noteworthy selections.
Read on or miss out.
Miss out, even on some essentials. Wayne Jarret's Satta Dread plus King Tubby's thundering DUB, for example. Most would hear the voice Horace Andy in this essential Rockers. To compare: There is a Horace Andy track available too. The priceless "Money" remains to be one of Horace's best track.
There's a vital Augustus Pablo version of the Rastafarian classic Satta, and a pretty rare Bob Marley and the Wailers track along with DUB version. The ultra-funny "When A Man Is In Love", voiced by Billy... Boyo (whatever happened to him, by the way?) can be heard too.
Just a quick introduction to a number of tracks you can hear in Roots A La Rubba Dub, another crucial Podcast by UK based Collector AND Selector Pablow.
Give Thanks for the Vibes!
