"EVALUATING 2008 (12)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)
WWW, December 22 2008 - The selection of Barack Obama as the first black president of the USA was a very important thing.
Millions of people cheered and rejoiced over the fact, that now there was a Black Man in the White House. There are many Reggae artists who livicated a song to him, and this will proof to be an important fact in the future.
I have seen these last years, that what is called the "Truth Movement" is "discovering Rasta" more and more and more. Personally I am happy about this, it is a thing which I have also tried to contribute to, throughout time.
But there are also dangers in this thing, just like there are dangers in the fact that many people will accept what Barack Obama says just because he is the first Black president of the USA.
