ONLINE DUB ARTISTS (16)

Dubroom Online - April 17 2009

"ONLINE DUB ARTISTS (16)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, April 17 2009 - With our reviews and out Net Label, the Dubroom surely has a role in the promotion of the Online DUB Artist Community. That is, the serious members of this community, not those who have shown themselves to be destructive for the development of the music and the community.

The last years have really shown the dangers and disadvantages of sites where everyone can upload their music. Many of them, when they are not serious, will abuse these websites for social engineering games and wars and all kinds of other wicked things.

The vibe that comes out of these sites is so destructive for the overall vibe in (DUB) Reggae Music, that many artists simply do no longer join such sites and instead turn to the concept of Net Labels to release their music.

One Love, Give Thanks,
Messian Dread (Dubroom Webmaster)

The above column is the personal opinnion of the Webmaster and does not neccesarily reflect the contents of the Dubroom Website and/or Message Boards and/or Weblogs.
