"ONLINE DUB ARTISTS (17)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)
WWW, April 18 2009 - With the demise of the OMD concept (where everyone can upload their works and everyone can "review" and "rate", et cetera), the concept of the Net Label has proven to be a positive alternative.
The only disadvantage is the enormous scattering, as each Net Label also has their own website from where they release their music.
The Dubroom does play a part in uniting these websites by reviewing the material and linking to the different sites. But obviously, we can't really do much more than that either.
One thing is for sure, the Online DUB Artist Community has a future that future is different than the present and different than the past, too.
Another thing is for sure, too, and that is that the people who love Reggae Music will always be looking to download the best free and legal Reggae Music files available.
One Love, Give Thanks,
Messian Dread (Dubroom Webmaster)
The above column is the personal opinnion of the Webmaster and does not neccesarily reflect the contents of the Dubroom Website and/or Message Boards and/or Weblogs.
