"JOHN BROWN'S BODY" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)
WWW, September 16 2009 - John Brown Body is a remarkable band. They used to be much more into Roots Reggae than they seem to be at this moment.
For years, the Dubroom has a review of an MP3 which features the band backing up Justin Hinds. Crucial Roots Reggae Music, straight forward and without apology.
But then, a few years ago, one key member of the band passed away while others left the band to do other things. This marked a change in the music which is now on the edge of not even be able to selected for a review on the Dubroom.
However, since the band is definitely (historically and presently) relevant in the American Reggae Scene, they are reviewed on the Dubroom and in the next 6 days I hope to present to you a couple of their new tunes and remixes so you can judge for yourself.
One Love, Give Thanks,
Messian Dread (Dubroom Webmaster)
