STEPPING STONES TO
CROSS THE RIVER
RADIO DUBROOM 2021 CHAPTER 3
The show opens with a bombshell Dub from the Dutch based, but originally Canadian Twilight Circus Dub Sound System. The Spanish Hot Drop, (recently reviewed in the Dubroom) follows up with a vocal and version, after which we dross the channel to visit the UK for some heavyweight material. Subsequently we go to the Netherlands, for two pre-releases from the Dubroom's own Net Label, Studio and Dub Producer.
When Vibronics and Zion Train meet, the result is a hard steppers that we've played before and play again without apology. That's the same for the excellent Netherlands based Slimmah Sound productions, featuring Sista Omi on the Zion Train Roots vinyl label.
The show ends with a selection of recently reviewed music and music to be reviewed. There's the Dubophonic Net Label with an ire vocal and version featuring Sista Sara, and a free release from the same producer Dub Cmd.
The show is just over an hour long, and made with love for the music and for the people.
