AFRICA CALLING (DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW)

AFRICA CALLING
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, April 2008 - Reggae Vocal Harmony Group the Wailing Souls sang the word: "Every time you hear the sound of the drum, it is an African Beat". Africa Calling puts more sound to the word in a powerful and inspirational podcast of mainly -but not strictly- 1970's Roots Reggae.

It's written in the first pages of the Bible how Ethiopia was a part of the original Garden of Eden: the "Land Of Creation". Ethiopia, symbolizing Africa as a whole, takes a very prominent position within the Movement of Rastafari and Reggae Music as a whole.

This is where Africa Calling enters.

After opening with the inspirational Abyssinians track "African Race" we go straight to Africa to hear the only non-reggae track in this impressive podcast. We then move further into Nyabinghy, Dub, Roots, Rockers, even Rub a Dub style.

The mother land is calling, and this is her sound.

"JESUS PEOPLE": A SATIRE (CRC VIDEO REVIEW)

"JESUS PEOPLE": A SATIRE
CRC VIDEO REVIEW

WWW, May 2008 - Even without knowing the details about the real people and events (discussed) in the video, the satire "Jesus People" unmistakably shows the hypocrisy, vanity and essential unchristian nature of the Christian Industrial Complex.

A pastor, his wife, and four ambitious artists who want to make it in the Christian Industrial Complex form the backbone of the "Jesus People" story. The pastor guides the artists and introduces them to other celebs in the market where Christianity is spelled Chri$tianity.

Obviously no co-incidence: the pastor looks like Rick Warren and one of the artists speaks about how her former husband ruined her career in the Christian Market before: those in-the-know will recognize similarities with Amy Grant.

But even without knowing (some) details concerning the true events and people that inspired the makers of "Jesus People", the viewer of the video will recognize how little exaggeration is applied. Completely unnecessary, as the Christian Industrial Complex in itself makes a mockery out of the true Christian faith.

Time for a smile, and -when you know yourself to be involved in the Christian Industrial Complex- perhaps time to realize how blasphemic this complex is, in reality.

For it is obvious that the makers of the video know the difference between the Industry and the faith better than many who call themselves "Christian".

MYSTERY BABYLON (101)

Dubroom Online - Edition April 22-30, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (101)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, April 23 2008 - Mystery Babylon works hard to get rid of mankind and have us replaced by the "post humans".

Eugenics and other forms of what is called Social Engineering are applied by the Shitstem, more often than not clouded in scientific terms to conceal the real deal.

While mankind is led to believe that this is all about "enhancing the human race", even Babylon workers themselves may not even know what it is they are working on.

For that real deal has nothing to do with the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve, but everything with the seed of the serpent called Lucifer or Satan.

More on May 1st...

REGGAE REVOLUTION
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, April 2008 - Tappa Zukie's "Revolution" sets the tone for a 37 minute selection of heavyweight and militant Rockers, Dub, Dancehall and Roots that may definitely carry the name that it does.

Blessed!

As we move from one riddim into the next, we feel strength within ourselves to move forward and chant down Babylon one more time.

Reggae Revolution, a Righteous Revolution! While the music hits, we feel no pain but it goes straight to Babylon head as well. The show takes us straight back to the 1970's and onward as we are being treated with a flood of musical militancy.

When the 37 minute mix ends with an energizing Drum 'n' Bass call to a (Reggae) Revolution, we surely gained some necessary strength.

Blessed!

RAS MESSENGERS - "EGYPT LAND" (1982)
DUBROOM VIDEO REVIEW

WWW, April 2008 - Admitted: the title of this incomplete, three-minute Nyabinghy session by the UK based Ras Messengers recorded in 1982 is a guess of yours truly.

Actually, the session is taken from the movie "Race, Rhetoric, Rastafari" by Jamaican film maker Barbara Blake-Hanna which you can check out on www.reggaefilms.co.uk. The video deals with racism in the UK during the early 1980's and has -next to Ras Messengers- music by I Jah Man Levi and others.

"Egypt Land" is an up-tempo Nyabinghy track. Nyabinghy means "Death To Black And White Downpressors" and is a rhythm distinct from Reggae.

Actually, Nyabinghy is true Rasta Music where Reggae is not necessarily played by Rasta-only artists. Actually, there are Rastas who would argue that Rastas should not play Reggae but stick to the natural sound of the hand drums playing Nyabinghy while chanting to Jah.

See, hear and feel three minutes of pure Nyabinghy drumming and Rastaman chanting: blessed!

MYSTERY BABYLON (100)

Dubroom Online - Edition April 22, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (100)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, April 22 2008 - The term "Intelligent Design" is often assumed to be just another word for "Creationism": the believe in the existence of a Creator.

However, this is not completely describing all proponents of Intelligent Design. The word is panspermia and the basic idea behind it is the proposal that life was formed by forces outside of planet earth.

In other words, non-human intelligent beings are responsible for the creation of "mankind as we know it".

In a video reviewed for today's edition of Dubroom Online and for the Babylon Observer, we can hear how we are being introduced to scientific data that seems to spell panspermia for almost 30 minutes, only to hear the essence in the last ten seconds...

More Tomorrow...

ORIGINS OF LIFE: PANSPERMIA (BABYLON OBSERVER VIDEO REVIEW)

ORIGINS OF LIFE: PANSPERMIA
BABYLON OBSERVER VIDEO REVIEW

WWW, April 2008 - Not all adherents of "Intelligent Design" are driven by religious ideas. Introducing panspermia, the theory that life on earth was seeded from life elsewhere in the universe.

The "origins of live" are obviously clouded in mystery for those that take the idea of "evolution" seriously. A mystery that scientists have to solve without accepting the fact that there is a Creator.

When everything was formed out of a "big bang", then what caused this "big bang"? And how plausible is the idea that life could be formed out of all this, not to mention the existence of the universe in the first place?

This video explores the idea, that life was "seeded" from "somewhere out there", in other words: organic elements dropped on earth from space. As one scientists points out, space is only 30 kilometers "up there", pointing to the sky.

There's a name for it: panspermia.

Presented by some as the alleged "missing link" between "science" and "religion", the idea that mankind (or life in general) was seeded by beings from elsewhere is nothing less than a scientifical apology for the terrible events that are described in the ancient books and called the "Days Of Noah" by Jesus Christ Himself.

It was then, that beings came down and created offspring with humans called the nephilim. These nephilim were evil and were the direct reason for the Great Flood that covered the planet.

Babylon tries her best to make people believe, that they are actually these nephilim, just like Hitler wanted people to believe they were "Aryans", where Adolph was referring to a race of nephilim from these ancient times.

Panspermia is one of the ways in which she has to prepare the people for a return of the days of Noah.

It cannot be laughed away as some kind of conspiracy theory, as this video is predominantly showing scientists and science as the reference for the idea.

It's an idea, that prepares the way for the next step, which is only touched upon during the last seconds of the video. That next step being the "discovery" of "intelligent life" in outer space...
