ALPHA AND OMEGA WITH JONAH DAN - WATCHING OVER I

ALPHA AND OMEGA WITH JONAH DAN - WATCHING OVER I
DUBROOM VIDEO REVIEW

WWW, October 2008 - Alpha and Omega love their audience enough to have their video technician create a clip around a tune even before it is officially release and they put it online for you and I to enjoy.

Alpha and Omega are a leading force within UK DUB with their own specific sound and basslines. Deep, deep basslines!

They've had a whole legion of vocalists voicing over their original riddims and the result is something very unique that you just cannot afford to dislike when you're into DUB, even "just" into Reggae Music.

In "Watching Over I", UK vocalist Jonah Dan sings over the riddim, chanting spiritual words of wisdom that will appeal to the Righteous Rastaman and others who know themselves. The tune, according to the description given by Alpha and Omega who put the video online themselves, is currently in it's pre-release stage.

A sign of Raspect to the audience, let's give them Raspect too and buy their material as they need it!

MYSTERY BABYLON (149)

Dubroom Online - October 20, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (149)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, October 20 2008 - I've been in many reasonings with people who did not want to admit that they themselves are initiated, enslaved, until a certain degree.
Sure, some might admit to it, but do not see it as much further than a slogan. A cliché, even, to stop a deep reasoning.

So it's not just enough to acknowledge the fact that we are all initiated into Babylon Mystery to a certain degree. For the mere fact that -more or less- each and everyone of us have this situation to deal with, makes some of us stop working on it altogether.

In order to Step Out Of Babylon, we must also Step Out Of... Ourselves.

Most of us, namely, have been trained to have their own feelings as the standard by which they judge what they have to do or not.

More Tomorrow...

ROOTS MINISTRY MIXDOWN PART EIGHT
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, October 2008 - Selector Papa Jason of the German based Roots Ministry Sound System takes us into a Dancehall vibe extraordinaire! Digital vibes galore and well versatile. When you can take it, that is.

Ever since Jammy's came up with the now legendary Sleng Teng riddim, Jamaican studio's have been applying digital possibilities with various results. Some people went wild, while others couldn't apprecilove it at all. The debate continues until this day...

Much has happened after Sleng-Teng, obviously. The specific UK DUB and Roots sound rests heavily on the sound of the Drum computer, for example. But also Dancehall and Jamaican Roots of today has gone digital for a large degree.

The 8th episode of the Roots Ministry Mixdown series takes us -for the most part- back to the early days of the digital era. Many things were kinda new, even revolutionary, and so experimentation was the order of the day.

Simply a very, very interesting experience to hear some of those early digi-tunes again. In a time wherein a whole generation grew up with digital music and many prejudice of back then have faded in the trails of history, it's never a bad thing to know where we're coming from: another service from the Roots Ministry for which we give thanks.

Nuff thanks!

WWW, October 2008 - It's a fact, that not all Dubroom visitors and readers are interested in all things that the Dubroom puts out. That's why there are now 10 different site feeds and mailing lists. Read all about it in the tenth episode of Dubroom In-Site!

(DUB) Reggae and Consciousness. The Dubroom attracts people who are looking for music, and people who are looking for information. And even though the statistics make it quite clear that most of the readers and visitors are -kinda- interested in both, there is a group with a more specific interest.

It doesn't happen often, but sometimes this site receives feedback from people who do not really like to be confronted with contents they didn't ask for. One can think of someone who is just interested in the music and not in digging into the lyrics so to speak, but it can also be the other way around.

If it were only that, one could say, well, just skip stuff you don't like. Which is usually the case. But there's something else, too.

Thus far, the Dubroom had only one mailing list and site feed: Dubroom Online, with the latest reviews and articles all in one e-mail. In this list, everyone gets something but not enough.

This is now changed.

No, the main list won't change at all. Those who are subscribed will not have to do anything. It's just, that a total of nine lists have been added to which you can subscribe via email or via your browser by the means of site-feeds.

All of this could be done, because of four new Dubroom Weblogs each of which has two different feeds: the postings and the comments. Here's a list of all our blogs (links open in a new window): The blogs have been created in these last weeks. Currently, older material is posted along with the new but that process is entering a final phase. So it could be, that if you subscribe now allready, you might find a few older items in your in-box too. This is especially the case with the reviews.

Anyway, most of the work is done: the feeds and lists all work automatically and should function properly. Click HERE for the Feeds or Click HERE for the Mailing Lists.

MYSTERY BABYLON (148)

Dubroom Online - October 19, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (148)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, October 19 2008 - Do we have the courage to admit for ourselves, for Jah, for others even, that we ourselves are initiated, enslaved, identifying ourselves with what Babylon tells us that we are?

Do we realize that we are created to be free and therefore when we say we want to "be ourselves", this doesn't mean that we can continue to be enslaved, not free?

Do we realize that this means we can lose komfort, do we realize this means we have to think hard sometimes because nobody else will do it for us?

Obviously, I cannot go further than asking this question. I can only answer it for myself, to the best of my own ability.

And if it helps you, my answer is "yes".

More Tomorrow...

REVELATIONS OF A MOTHER GODDESS

REVELATIONS OF A MOTHER GODDESS
BABYLON OBSERVER VIDEO REVIEW

WWW, October 2008 - Join the Babylon Observer as he explores one of the most controversial video's from one of the most controversial speakers on one of the most controversial topics: the (spiritual) identity and activities of the World Elite!

Take it with a grain of salt, if you will, but don't reject everything beforehand. In "Revelations of a Mother Goddess", we are being confronted with information provided to us by a woman called "Arizona Wilder", as she is introduced and interviewed by British author and researcher David Icke.

Arizona claims to have been born in a family that wanted her for just one reason: she had to grow up and become a high priest in a religion that is secretly practiced by the World Elite. Through the technique of ritual abuse she became a programmed priest who would perform rituals at several places which would basically consist out of the calling up of very strong demons and the killing of humans.

She goes further. As she was part of the rituals, she say many of the participants "shape-shift". She saw them change into a reptilian figure which gave her -and David Icke- the idea that in fact these are not people but a different kind of species. The possibility of demonic possession isn't considered in the video, even though all the elements are provided to come to that conclusion.

Here comes the grain of salt.

You don't need that grain of salt, though, to realize that yes indeed the World Elite is involved in such a satanic religion which involves Babylonian, occultic rituals. Bohemian Grove, to mention one other piece of evidence, in the woods of California, is the place for such rituals which have been secretly video-taped by Alex Jones. The second Psalm of the Bible also speaks kinda clear about it.

Before the actual interview starts in this -almost- three hour video, David Icke takes us straight into the City of London. The inner part, where you can find one office after another deadicated to the New World Order: the Tavistock Mind Control Institute for example. In itself a very interesting part which can be seen even without watching the actual interview.

Arizona Wilder is obviously a traumatized woman, who is not faking it. She speaks about things that are hard to believe, but when you listen close you will see that much of that is her own speculation. When she speaks about facts, they do not have to be interpretated like David Icke and Arizona Wilder seem to do. But they should at least be taken notice of.

MYSTERY BABYLON (147)

Dubroom Online - October 18, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (147)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, October 18 2008 - The Africans who were taken to the "New World" as slaves became one of the most blatant examples of Babylonian slavery, their story is the symbol for billions of people who are all in slavery.

Yes, all of us are taken from the "Land of Creation" into slavery. We are all taken from our original and natural status as Jah's creations in order to work as slaves for a shitstem that is ultimately designed to make an end to mankind as Jah created us!

The best way to keep people in slavery, is to make them think that they are free where they are in fact working for the slave masters that keep them in bondage from the cradle to the grave.

Yes, we must realize and admit to ourselves and to our Creator ultimately, that we are indeed not free at all.

And when we are not free, we can never be who we are created to be.
