WWW, March 2 2009 - Traditionally, only a fraction of the visitors and readers of the Dubroom Message Boards actually post. They had to register when they wanted to stay up-to-date with the things that are going on.

This is no longer necessary.

Since the new Message Boards have a feed for just about everything someone might want a feed for, you do not need to register at the new Dubroom Message Boards to keep yourself informed.

You can easily follow what's going on by subscribing to a feed in your browser, or even stay up-to-date by e-mail.

Only when you want to post/contribute, is when the registration process gets interesting. A process which is not as easy as in the previous boards, I must admit...

WWW, February 2009 -Unfortunately, the video cuts off just before the end of this impressive 1981 performance. A warning to president Mugabe who just went into power and to the people of the world!

King Sounds, fe true. Even though the performers, both band and vocalists, are pretty much unknown by today's Reggae Lover, each and every one of us will enjoy this Roots Rockers Music, Live and Direct.

King Words, too. In 1981, Robert Mugabe was the first leader of Zimbabwe. Before that, the country was named after Cecil Rhodes, whose scholarships made many people become members of the word elite. People like Bill Clinton. Just Google "Rhodes Scholar", and be surprised...

The tune is called "Forward", and performed over 25 years ago. What was "Forward", then, is "Today" now!

Those who frequently watch the news, know that Zimbabwe is in deep, deep trouble. The western world stands at the forefront in washing their own hands in innocence, while pointing the finger to Mugabe. Not really the picture that King Sounds and the Israelites had in mind, over 25 years ago.

They did have a warning, though. There is a thing, to never forget: Babylon is always looking for the riches of Africa and Africans, and will not stop doing so until JAH will finally downstroy her.

History, by the way, tends to repeat itself...

WWW, March 1 2009 - A new month, a new Message Board, it's almost springtime: looking forward is a must now...

The Dubroom Message Boards 2.0 will enable me and others who post to increase the quality of these postings. Embedding video's, it wasn't possible in DMB 1.0. Forwarding a news item took a complete programmers guide in Bulletin Board Code ("What?" "Yes, indeed, that's my point")...

Each thread has it's own RSS Feed and e-mail subscription button. Each forum has so, too. And lastly, there is a feed for all new topics in DMB 2.0, so you can stay up-to-date with anything you want without having to register.

Unfortunately, though, those that wish to continue posting on the Dubroom Message Boards will have to register at the new site...

hard stepping, militant beat is one of Russ D's specialties. Together with his collective The Disciples, he's caused several earthquakes in dances all around the world. Just like Alpha and Omega, the Dynamic UK DUB Duo that chose the deepest bass as their trademark.

In this video, they join hands in what has become a massive track, massive among the massive that is!

The accompanying vocal and video work is of the very same quality as the excellent track, altogether forming an experience that on one hand is way to long, but on the other hand also wants you to watch the other Alpha and Omega video's, reviewed by the Dubroom or not.

WWW, February 28 2009 - Well, it's kind of official now: the previous host of the Dubroom Message Boards is no more. I have discovered a confirmation of this message, and so, yeah, well, eeh....

We can now officially speak of the fact that the old Dubroom Message Boards were version 1.0, and since a few weeks we have the Dubroom Message Boards 2.0, or in short: DMB 2.0

Time to look forward, as it is evident that not even the data can be retrieved from the old servers. Everything is simply gone...

Gone like the winter, here in the Netherlands. In a few days, it's gonna be springtime over here which also is a perfect reason to look forward as slowly nature start to wake up again to give us JAH blessings...

WWW, February 2009 - Brand new, good for you! Straight, upfull Reggae Music, combined with a positive message delivered by two vocalists, straight from Yard to the soul of the world wide Reggae Massive!

"Don't get brainwash, you're gonna get a brain crash", is the message. The message by Natty "No Guns To Two" king singing melody and Professional DaynJah delivering the DJ part.

Interesting is, that the music is more Roots Reggae than one would expect, a sing that "Back to Roots" is a timeless thing. On the other hand, there is rap influence in Professional's toasting, but he is taking it straight into Reggae in a positive way.

Interesting, necessary: so check it out!

WWW, February 27 2009 - Reggae Music remains to be a Freedom Sound, even though there are many who "lapsed", or did the opposite: Jumped On The Band Wagon.

All of this is part of the fact that nothing in this fallen Creation will be perfect. Even stronger, everything in this fallen creation is subject to decay.

But there is also something else going on, ever since Reggae Music "threatened" to become the Sounds of Freedom on the World Wide scale that Reggae is currently being appreciloved.

There's a "War on Drugs", a "War on Terror", but there is also a "War On Reggae".

A War Against Reggae, even.

WWW, February 2009 - They even go so far to try and have Winston Rodney's wife arrested by the police, in order to stop Burning Spear. That is, after they downstroyed thousands of CD's. Burning Spear reports from the frontline in the "War Against Reggae"!

He is an example for many artists, not in the least because Winston Rodney aka Burning Spear is independent of the mainstream labels as he owns his own productions. Still going strong, releasing album after album between annual world tours, he is obviously a pain in the ass for the multinationals who own virtually all labels of any significance.

Of course, there is money involved in all of this. Half a million dollar, to be exact. Burning Spear is robbed from tens of thousands of his CD's, destroyed by distribution warehouse company "Megaforce" while they sell non-destroyed CD's under the table in record stores.

Since he is an independent artist, his dependence is on the income he gets and since his independence is a pain in the ass for the multinationals that want to dominate the musical airwaves with their propaganda, he is currently targeted bigtime by the dependant companies.
