MYSTERY BABYLON (61)

Dubroom Online - Edition March 14, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (61)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, March 14 2008 - The ancient world was not just ruled by the gods and their offspring, there were even whole tribes of nephilim.

The Phoenicians, for example, were nephilim.

They were white-skinned and traveled all over the world, trading with people and "giving" them "civilization".

The land of Israel was also filled with Nephilim. That's why the ancient Hebrews had to kill men, women, children, even the animals of the people they conquered.

The ancient Hebrews were not dealing with other human beings, they were dealing with the Serpent Seed and this Serpent Seed is not just an abomination in the sight of the Most High, it is also a threat to the very existence of mankind.

MYSTERY BABYLON (60)

Dubroom Online - Edition March 13, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (60)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, March 13 2008 - Cloning and genetic manipulation, even fusing the DNA of humans with that of the gods, these things are not as impossible and fictional as some may prefer to think it is.

Not just the Bible and the Ethiopian Book of Enoch speak about it. It's not just information out of a book, even an ancient book.

We have ancient sites, even skulls and bones that proof the existence of the race of these Nephilim.

In the ancient world, these Nephilim were not only well-known, they were worshipped and given authority of the peoples of the world.

How does this ancient knowledge relate to the situation in the world today?

DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - Puritans and Preterists may not particularly find themselves knowing just what is so delightful in the 2nd episode of the DUBSESSIONS Podcast, but the apprecilover of the better DUB Works of Art will simply Chill out and enjoy over an hour of stricktly good vibes.

Definitely, the lines of Reggae Music are crossed in most titles in this selection of yet another hour of what is known by many under the name "DUB". But since the same can be said about certain Dancehall mixes, the US based DUB SESSIONS Podcasts shouldn't be seen as a stricktly Reggae mix but that is by no means a reason to lay it aside.

When there is Roots, there must also be fruits, right?

Right!

As our host DJ Chill Will gradually takes us from one tune into the next, we come to taste some of the fruits. Fruits of the Roots. The Roots of DUB!

Where King Tubby laid down the foundation, planted the Roots if you will, just a little over a decade later the remix technique would find it's way into the electronic and digital studio's of the 1980's... and beyond.

DUBSESSIONS takes us straight in these studio's where we can enjoy some fruitful moments in a Double DUB Delight.

Delicious!

MYSTERY BABYLON (59)

Dubroom Online - Edition March 12, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (59)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, March 12 2008 - The ancient prophet Daniel wrote "they will mingle themselves with the seed of men" in his description of Babylon's final version.

Ages before that, JAH had told the first humans that there would be "enmity" between the "seed of the woman" and the "seed of the serpent".

Before the great flood, this Serpent Seed was well represented on the earth and only Noah and his family were left untainted in the mix-up of human DNA with that of angelic beings called the Watchers or Sons of God.

Mix-up, by the way, is another word for a con-fusion: something is mixed that should not be mixed at all.

And con-fusion is the direct translation of the word Babel when translated out of the Hebrew language.

MIXED UP MOODS VER. TWO
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - MIXED UP MOODS VERSION TWO brings us an overview of Jamaican Music from the last several decades. In a very interesting mix, we are being treated to known and -more appealing- unknown material, carefully selected by Brooklyn-based DJ Dr. Tahl.

Reggae Music has the ability to absorb the vibes-of-the-times in a way that no other music is able to do. Toots and the Maytalls once made a tune about it, called "Reggae got Soul", but you can easily say that Reggae has Rock or Reggae has Techno.

This very fact becomes clear when you listen to the first tunes in DJ Dr. Tahl's second edition of Podcasts he called "Mixed Up Moods". Very soulful, very Reggae too... It was the music of the seventies, but because Reggae is still Reggae, the music will also appeal to young people of today, which cannot be said about most -dated!- Soul Music.

Mixed Up Moods Version Two simply gives us an overview of several decades. Decades wherein Reggae Music may have changed in presentation and instrumentation, but not in strength and power.

Simply essential!

MYSTERY BABYLON (58)

Dubroom Online - Edition March 11, 2007

"MYSTERY BABYLON (58)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, March 11 2008 - In South-America, you can find skulls and skeletons of ancient rulers. They are called "Cone Heads", because of their unusual shape.

Throughout the world, we find ancient pictures of these very same rulers, for example in Egypt where the Pharaoh's were believed to be children of the gods.

A 4000 year old Sumerian statue shows us, how these beings had a reptilian shape but were very humanoid as well. The statue shows a female being breast-feeding her child, which is kind of unusual since reptiles don't breast-feed their children.

The Bible also speaks about these beings and calls them "Seed of the Serpent".

INTRU MENTALITY - A RIDE ON THE B-SIDE
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - When the Jamaican labels started to release instrumental versions on the B-sides of their 7" singles back in the 1960's, this marked the start of one of the most innovative disciplines in Music Production, which would be DUB.

Brooklyn based DJ Dr. Tahl introduces us the wonderful world of the B-Side: from instrumental versions to spaced out remixes.

Eek A Mouse made his own blend of DJ-ing and singing popular with the incredible Wa-Do-Dem. "Everyone" knows the tune, but not the DUB Version that came with the original 7" release.

A thing which the Brooklyn based DJ Dr. Tahl can cure for sure, and so he does in this great Version Excursion avant la lettre.

Instru Mentality: A Ride On The B-Side gives us some of the hardest DUBS ever to be released on the Jamaican B-sides. At least, the Podcast gives us the answer as to why certain people are more interested in that B-Side than in the A-side.

DUB definitely brings out the best of Reggae, as the engineer behind the mixing board becomes an artist himself by adding effects and interacting with the recorded music in many other ways as well.

Tougher than Tough!
