MYSTERY BABYLON (82)

Dubroom Online - Edition April 4, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (82)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, April 4 2008 - The gods of yesterday are the "aliens" of today. Everyone who has done at least a little bit of research in the phenomena will say this.

There are several types of "aliens", the most popular obviously being the typical "Grey".

There are also "Aryan" aliens, usually called "Nordics" because of their very white skin, their very blond hair, et cetera.

The "Nordics" are often described as very loving full, very concerned with the "evolution of mankind", and they are known to contact people all over the world with a message that is strikingly similar with that of the New Age Movement and other Babylonian religions.

Are these "Nordics" the very same "Aryans" that Hitler ranted about??

THE SCIENCE OF SCIENTIST MIX

THE SCIENCE OF SCIENTIST MIX
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - King Tubby is the Father of DUB. The Scientist was one of his direct pupils. He quickly became one of the leading names within DUB, still known for his excellent DUBs released on the Greensleeves label.

These Dubs were done in the start to mid 1980's, and the bulk of selections in this Podcast come from that era. Crucial, because they show how long after many on Jamaica thought DUB was a thing of the past, Scientist took it to a next level.

His genius DUB Mixes of Roots Radics tracks recorded in Channel One Studio gave birth to a series on the Greensleeves Label that stands as a must- have for every self-respecting collector of DUB Reggae.

THE SCIENCE OF SCIENTIST proofs why.

Listen to some of the most genius works in the field of DUB, and consider that all of this was done without the assistance of digital technology that blesses producers and engineers in this era.

Listen to the fat beats of Channel One's studio's, and listen how Scientist takes the equipment of King Tubby's and manages to make his own sound and trademark with it.

Take into consideration that he was around 20, when most of the music was produced that you can listen to in the 70 minutes of this High Quality Podcast.

Realize why Scientist remains to be honored as one of the originators of DUB as you experience some of the fattest Dubs made in the early 1980's.

JAB JAB - GRAND DAD (LIVE AT REVOLVER 1978)
Dubroom (DUB) Reggae Video Review

WWW, April 2008 - In this rare 1978 footage, we can see and hear some Punky Reggae as UK Roots Reggae band Jab Jab performs for a live studio audience.

Like the other recordings done for the "Revolver" program in the UK back in 1978, this video clip is really, really dated. It's the kind of video that you don't just watch to see the (excellent) musicians, since the audience is at least as interesting because of the antiquarian nature.

The Reggae Music played by Jab Jab is rough and though, militant and energetic. As the band starts to play on a turning stage (70's, remember?), the crowd starts to dance and the rest is...

Historical!

MYSTERY BABYLON (81)

Dubroom Online - Edition April 3, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (81)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, April 3 2008 - When Adolph Hitler spoke to the Europeans, many thought how he would be referring to them in his rants about "Aryans".

But Hitler spoke about his dream of creating the Neue Mensch or the "New Man". To him, the European people were not his goal, they were merely a step to reach that goal.

That goal was, how surprisingly, to create the rebirth of Atlantis by genocide and genetic manipulation of those humans which he thought were "fit extensions", to use a biblical phrase.

The Aryans finally turned out to be nothing more than a race of Nephilim, unholy offspring of sexual relations between the gods and human women, from the days of Noah.

SANDRA CROSS AND MAD PROFESSOR WITH WILD BUNCH - CREATION (1982)
Dubroom (DUB) Reggae Video Review

WWW, April 2008 - Over 26 years ago, the Mad Professor was already mixing it up live while band and vocalists play some upfull righteous Roots Reggae.

One of the things that the Mad Professor is known for, other than his excellent DUB releases, is the fact that he has given a stage for, even basically created the phenomenon of the "Roots Daughters": female Reggae vocalists singing conscious lyrics over serious music.

Sistren like Aisha and also Sandra Cross, who was a member of a band called the Wild Bunch before going solo. In this video, we catch up with them all in a historic performance that will thrill the lover of Conscious Roots Reggae, both young and old.

Blessed!

MYSTERY BABYLON (80)

Dubroom Online - Edition April 2, 2008

"MYSTERY BABYLON (80)" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)

WWW, April 2 2008 - Adolph Hitler "talked" about the "Aryans". In the America's white people are named after the Caucasus mountains close to India.

In India, a book called "The Secret Doctrine" was written by a woman called Helena Blavatsky. The Secret Doctrine told us all about the goodness of Lucifer and how wonderful it was in the Days of Noah, or... Atlantis.

Helena Blavatsky wrote extensively about the "god-men" who were living in the Days of Noah, a situation that Mystery Babylon so desperately tries to re-install.

One of the "races" of these "god-men" which we recognize as the Nephilim, was named by that one name Adolph Hitler used to deceive his audience: Aryans.

HOUSE OF REGGAE #23
DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW

WWW, March 2008 - Episode 23 of the essential House of Reggae Podcast again takes us deep into Reggae Music. 14 Great tracks from all times of Reggae's History, and they all have a story to tell!

What does it take to make 23 hours of documenting and footnoting essential Reggae, creating en passant a series that, we kind of said it before, makes a Reggae connoisseur out of someone who thinks Reggae is all about Bob Marley and the Wailers?

It takes a House of Reggae, that's for sure. It takes a host, that loves Reggae Music and also knows why he loves the music, which is kind of important.

There is not one episode of the House of Reggae Podcast that does not proof it's relevance out of itself, and given the fact we speak about episode 23 here, should say a thing!

We kick off with Yami Bolo, go straight back in time and one hour later land with a great 12" by the Wailing Souls. In the meantime, we've become richer in knowledge and our soul is fed with some crucial sounds.

Crucial indeed!

PLAYLIST

01. Yami Bolo - Weep Not
02. Hot Rocks - Badda Badda
03. Revolutionaries - Badda Version
04. The Morwells - Don Morwell
05. Wellington All Stars - The Killer
06. Ken Parker - My Whole World Is Falling Down
07. Peter Spence - How To Love
08. David Jahson - Natty Chase The Barber
