DUBROOM IN-SITE #7
WWW, September 2007 - Gradually, the Dubroom is moving into a next format that will build further on the foundation laid 10 years ago. While nothing is removed, a lot will be added and interaction is only a small part of it.
The Dubroom independently promotes (DUB) Reggae and Consciousness online since 1997. We do so by Reviewing, Releasing and Researching.
Thousands of people visit the site every day to satisfy their hunger for Word, Sound and Power and because everything has it's own category, it's easy to stay away from material that might not have your interest.
Almost every day, new reviews are written and added to the site. Research material and original articles about conscious topics are published on a regular basis as well.
Most of the new additions to the site are mentioned on the Dubroom Front Page, together with a short column by the Dubroom Webmaster. That column can be just about everything: from comments on the new contents of the day to a meditation or just a little word.
The new contents can range from Reviews, Releases and Research material. Every day we have at least one review of a musical work, and more often than not the music can be enjoyed free of charge.
The columns and new items come under the title "Dubroom Online".
You can compare Dubroom Online with a magazine or a daily newspaper, but it's not really the same. This is because we deal with (DUB) Reggae and Consciousness rather than with the latest gossip and propaganda. The format, however, is designed to help you find what you want fast without being bothered by those topics you are not interested in.
You can find a new edition (almost) every day, and not just on the Dubroom Frontpage. There's a couple of messageboards and weblogs where you can find it too, but dubroom.blogspot.com is by far the most interesting place to visit as you can find the columns and the full Reviews and Articles on one page every day.
You can subscribe to Dubroom Online with your browser or RSS reader, or even have the new editions sent to your email address without having to register at the Dubroom Messageboards.
Dubroom Online is also interactive. You can place comments to the new Reviews, Releases and Research material as well as the daily column of the Dubroom Webmaster.
You do not have to register yourself in order to place a comment, but it has to be approved. The prevention measure is to stop spammers and stalkers from mashing up the site.
