Video: Richie Roots - By The Rivers Of Babylon

Dubroom (DUB) Reggae Video Review

WWW, September 2007 - Discogroup Boney M made this psalm very popular when they scored a hit with their cover version of the Melodians track.

In this video-clip, we'll see Richie Roots as he performs the track again in a style that could be described as a modern version of Nyabinghy and Roots Reggae.

The music is slow and spiritual, the sights are professionally without losing eye for the spiritual aspects.

After all, the words come straight out of the bible and can be applied one-on-one to the story of the African people who were stolen from their homeland in order to work as slaves to build the great cities of Babylon.
