Dubroom Online - Edition October 6, 2007

WWW, October 6 2007 - The video "Catch a Fire", which we reviewed for this edition of Dubroom Online, reveals to a great extend just what was going on in that time wherein the Wailer created their first album.

The documentary is open about just about everything that was done to market Bob Marley's music to the European and American Rock audiences. Audiences that would despise Reggae, if they knew about it at all in the first place!

Was it a "sell-out" to the system, or was it an intelligent more to use the system in order to spread the same message to a much larger audience?

Obviously, the debate will continue as it has been continued throughout the decades.

Give Thanks, One Love,
