DUBROOM MP3 REVIEW
Ian's House of Reggae is simply an essential Podcast. Each and every one of the one-hour episodes is packed with crucial sounds and our host makes sure you know what you're listening to as he does extensive research for every selection.
When you're looking for an introduction to Reggae Music, look no further. The London based House of Reggae documents the history of Reggae Music up to our present time like no other podcast does, and with that, our host stands on a lonely height when it comes to Reggae Edutainment.
In his own way, Bredda Ian takes us from 1997 to 1954 and back while providing stories that explain how certain musical works have come into existence and more. The nature of the information varies from listing studio's to exploring social and spiritual circumstances that formed the culture and sound of Reggae.
At the time this review was written, the House of Reggae just released the 24th episode. Download them all, and you could call it: "The Story Of Reggae In Twenty Four Hours". A priceless collection that provides an insight in the music and culture of Jamaica unlike any other podcast or CD series ever released.
