For quite a while now, a couple of years to be precise, the Dubroom has been publishing almost daily. A column and one or more items, usually reviews. It's a concept which works just fine, but after such a long while of doing this one could reason that it might be time to do it a little bit different.
A reasoning which makes a lot of sense because of a variety of reasons: one of which being the fact that the Dubroom Studio is currently being built and made ready for deeper mixing of not just Messian Dread music but also recorded material with and from other artists. This is a very time-consuming process which will not be ready for quite a few months.
Roughly spoken, the (vague) plan is to make Dubroom Online from a daily thing into a weekly. This weekly edition will obviously have much more contents than a daily one. It will probably come -more or less- in the form of an electronic magazine with features such as reviews of free/legal MP3 files, releases, video's et cetera.
On top of that, there's just something posted almost every day on the Dubroom Message Boards: a lot of news and views, for example. This will not change when Dubroom Online goes weekly instead of daily. Instead, the weekly might just contain a "best of the boards" feature or something like that.
As you see, the plans are there and even though they're vague, Jah willing they will not stay vague for very long. Keep an eye on the Dubroom for updates!
One Love, Give Thanks,
Messian Dread (Dubroom Webmaster)
